We booked this dinner show literally last minute and it turned out to be a great experience! They are very hospitable and welcoming and everything was very comfortable. I was worried that we’d be trapped on an uncomfortable wagon with terrible food. We did the 6 o’clock dinner. They started with a brief history story and then a 30 minute carriage ride 2-miles up into the Forrest. The carriage ride was smooth and comfortable. We ended up eating around 7:15. They accommodated the gluten free people in our party and the kids ate non-stop and loved the food which is all you can eat. After the first helping you can go back and request special items (dark meet chicken, extra dressing on salad, etc.) Food: BBQ chicken, beef with gravy, corn on the cob, dinner rolls, and salad Drinks: Water, lemonade, coffee, hot chocolate The entertainment was fun and perfectly cheesy. If you have younger kids I’d do the earlier dinner since the later dinner won’t get back until 9. But we had perfect weather and sunsets on the way back.

10/10 must do experience while in town! Great staff and very family friendly. Our kids loved seeing the horses and the bumpy wagon ride was a blast for them! Funny show and talented musicians. The cowboy dinner was delicious too!

Friendly, funny staff, great food and it's all you can eat. Good family entertainment including jokes, music, and audience participation. The wagon and horse experience was top notch! Thanks to the reviewer who suggested bringing a bandana to cover your face from the dust that gets kicked up.

What a FUN experience! A definite must-do while in Jackson. Our “wagon driver” was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was decent and entertainment was authentic and interactive. Only thing I would have done different is to bring bug spray.

The evening we spent with the Bar T 5 crew was fantastic! The show was fun and family appropriate. The food was great. And the crew were stellar. From the wagon driver to the people serving the food to the master of ceremonies himself, everyone was friendly and welcoming. If you’re in the evening, it’s well worth your time to visit the Wagon Cookout and Western Show!

Wonderful and unique experience of a wagon ride, dinner and music show. All of three adults and two children had a fabulous time. The staff were very friendly and the show was excellent. The guy who was driving our wagon had a lot of fun stories. On the way there were “Highway robbers” and a shoot out ! There was a young lady who played the fiddle with amazing skill. AND an all you can eat buffet ! This is an expensive exp; but we thought it was worth it.

Bar T-5 is a class act. Everything was very well-organized. We enjoyed the short wagon ride. Dinner was served in an efficient manner. My favorites were the BBQ Chicken (moist), baked beans (distinctive), and chocolate chip cookie (moist). Cowboy outlaws performed crazy antics in between the singing and fine fiddling. Audience participation added more laughs and fun. The fiddler was particularly talented. It's great fun for all ages!

We arrived into town around 3:00. We saw this flyer at The tourist center. We called on the phone to make reservations. We called twice but it kept going to voicemail wanting us to leave a message. Since it was only one and a half miles away we drove there. We were able to get in on the floor 45 dinner show. All of the employees throughout the entire experience were amazing. Pleasant friendly and they knew their job. We had a wagon train of wagons go to the campsite. They had all the food ready for us and the band started playing. Food is very good and it was all you could eat. They did a great job getting all of us fed very quick and allowed us to come back through the lines as many times as we wanted. It was 65 per person which included the wagon ride the entertainment the dinner. It was well worth it. They had water lemonade and coffee for drinks. They did not serve alcohol. As we left the corral and headed up The path one of the wagons had a tire break. They had a replacement wagon there within 2 minutes transferred everybody over in the show went on. If you're here with either your spouse or your family I recommend you enjoy this show and dinner Regarding atmosphere I did not give them five stars only for. There were a lot of mosquitoes at the dinner site. They did have citronella candles to try to displace the mosquitoes. It worked okay but they need some other type of measure to keep the bugs out. The end of the show with a tribute to our military veterans and played the song How Great Thou Art.
